Most of you know how big of a fan I am of Natalie over at Hey Natalie Jean but this most recent post of hers really hit home for me. There are so many things to say and not to say to say in the world of fertility and infertility. Trust me, I know. Sure I am pregnant now, but if you’ve read the blog, you know the struggle. You know the history and you know my journey. There are just certain moments that call for support beyond concrete ‘do this’ advice. There are people that just need an email, a phone call, some flowers, a simple note to say, “you’re going to make a great mum one day”. I remember having some of my favourite people say this to me and it made a world of difference.
On the worst days, when I felt like truly 100% giving up, that no natural solution was going to fill my uterus with a baby, those were the days that I needed some support. I am a very positive person, I am a very confident and strong person, but infertility has a way of bashing you way way down sometimes.
I will always help to pick you up, I will always be the one to offer another solution if you want it, I will always be the one to share a mantra that I said every day for two years ( and still say ) so that you know that there is someone out there rooting for you.
YOU ARE GOING TO BE AN AMAZING MAMA ONE DAY
Read on if you’re interested and thanks Natalie for being so honestly real for all the ladies out there that are trying to make delicious babies!!
