I could be naive in saying this but as a basic thought, think about it.

Trying to conceive can be HOT thing. It can be a SEXY thing. It’s one of the most basic animal instincts we have and for once we are totally allowed to throw caution to the wind and make it an adventure. 

Think about it. This person that you’re totally crazy about wants you all the time. You are finally ready to get that basic man instinct on and invite them into your body anytime, anywhere. It’s one of the most carnal, animal like activities we can embrace. So do it!

Scientifically and physically think about it! When women are totally relaxed and feeling sexy, they are literally able to welcome the sperm into their bodies. We are programed to open ourselves to our partners! Just like we are helping to nourish our bodies by adding or subtracting things to our diet, think about nourishing your body sexually. Helping your body to relax and open up to receive pleasure may be just as important to conception as fertility yoga, acupuncture, or any herbs you might be taking.

Sometimes when speaking to practitioners we are told that getting the timing right is the most important part of baby making. What about how we feel during sex? If you’re feeling nervous, stressed out or closed up, how can we possibly make magic happen? Studies are showing that the better sex we are having, the more likely it is that we will conceive. 

Try to remember why making a baby is hot at the bottom of it all. No more birth control, no more trying to ‘not get pregnant’. Try to make pleasure and being curious again about your sexuality a part of your baby making journey! You can finally channel that basic instinct inside us all to make something that has a little bit of both of you in it.
